Entries are now open for the 3rd and 4th races of our season at Rifle Co. On-line entries will close Thursday May 29th. at midnight.  Hope to See Everyone there!!

 

We will also have Dr. Bill Hampton, Certified Animal Chiropractor available

in Rifle on The May 31 and June 1 races. If you have questions or would like to make a early appointment feel free to contact Bill at his office 970 264 2121 or by cell at 970 903 8999.  Many folks may be familiar with Bill's work, he has been at several of the Racing in The Rockies races in both Moab and Craig.    

I would personally like to thank all those that helped us out to make the second races of the season a HUGE success!!  Abby Zellar, Joyce LeFevre, Brandon Lyster,  Ashley Ellis, Sharon & Carl Colunga,  and all the barrel setters, members, and parents! You were all a very great help.  We could not succeed without you!  A huge THANK YOU to all of you!

Points Races #5 and #6 

Rifle Co. -Indoor Arena

May 31 & June 1, 2008

Saturday arena will open at 10:00 for Exhibitions, close at 12:30.

Race will start at 1:00 with PeeWee, Open, Youth, Seniors, and Fundraiser.

Sunday arena will open at 9:30 for Exhibitions, close at 10:30.

Race will start at 11:00 with PeeWee, Open, Youth, Senior, and Fundraiser.

Open Fees $35, Youth & Seniors $25, PeeWee $5.

Exhibitions $5 each or 2 for $7.  And a $5 per day office fee.

Stalls are available for $15 per night. With no need to clean stalls. 

There will also be a Fundraiser Race for $25 per run, can carry over from the Open, Youth, or Senior, buy-backs are allowed in the Fundraiser.

There are No buy-backs allowed from Open to Youth or Senior.

In order to keep our entry fees low future races we are dependent on sponsor dollars for support.  Please make an effort to obtain some sponsors for year end awards.  Forms are available below for you to use in securing donations.  If you have a retail business that would like to donate year end awards rather than a monetary amount that's great too!  Anything you can do would be a tremendous help to our association.  With the price of fuel we are all struggling to make ends meet.  Please do your part and help the District make ends meet. Some members have been AWESOME at securing sponsors and your help is greatly appreciated.  See the updated sponsor list on the Sponsor Page and let these area businesses know that we appreciate their support of our much loved sport.

ABOUT NBHA
The NBHA is open to all interested barrel racers, male and female of all ages. Professionals and beginners alike are given equal opportunity to win prize money and awards. If you are interested in more information please click on the District 10 logo above or the link at the bottom of the page.

NBHA CO-10 pays out the Open as a 4D (1/2, 1/2, full splits).  Points in the Open are kept in this same manner.  District 10 Youth and Senior are 3D (full second splits).  Points in the Youth and Senior are kept in this same manner. 

TOP 4 finishers in each division at year end in Open, Youth and Senior receive year end awards and World Show Qualifications.  Saddles are awarded to each division champion, buckles for second and other awards down through fourth place.
